Lifetime ban on keeping animals
Northern Ireland man pleads guilty.

Just an update ref the case below. On the 4/7/12 Mr Agnew pleaded guilty to two charges of causing unnecessary suffering to animals - he was sentenced to 2 months imprisonment suspended for 18 months on both charges. He also pleaded guilty to 1 charge of failing to dispose of a dead animal - he was sentenced to 2 months imprisonment suspended for 18 months.
He was also prohibited from keeping animals.
In respect of the domestic animals,
Sxxxx Jxxx Watson Mr Agnews partner also pleaded guilty on 4/7/12 to 3 charges; 1 of failing to excercise care and supervision to prevent animals suffering unnecessarily, 1 of cruelty to animals and 1 of causing unnecessary suffering to animals. She received a conditional discharge of two years for each of the offences.
She however did not receive a prohibition order for keeping animals.
At this point I would just like to thank you again for your time and expert evidence. Without your help I doubt the case would ever have got to court.
